Jessica completed her Master’s in Health Economics and Management (MHEM) from the University of Bologna in 2016 and her MSc. in Community and Population Health Sciences from the University of Saskatchewan in 2020.

While her MHEM assessed the demand for healthcare in the Chilean private insurance market using empirical analysis, Jessica’s MSc. thesis focused on the Epidemiology and Direct Health Care Cost of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) in Saskatchewan. Since 2017, she has been working with Dr. Juan-Nicolás Peña-Sánchez on multiple provincial and national collaborative IBD research projects.
