Faria has two Bachelor's degrees in Nursing and Biotechnology, and a Master's degree in Immunology from the University of Ottawa. She works as a Clinical Research Associate at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, IBD Center of Excellence. Her research interests involve investigator initiated trials and clinical epidemiological studies involving chronic diseases associated with inflammation, immunity, and cancer.
