Dr. Parul Tandon

Dr. Tandon is currently an Elliot Philipson clinician scientist trainee and PhD student in clinical epidemiology at the Institute of Health Policy, Management, and Evaluation, University of Toronto. He completed his medical degree at the Michigan State University, Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Ottawa, and Adult Gastroenterology and Hepatology residency at the University of Toronto. He is completing an advanced fellowship in IBD at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Ontario. His research training is focused at using epidemiological techniques to identify disparities in access to care in special populations in IBD, specifically by accessing large administrative databases.
